The Tapajós Regional Project comprises a large, highly prospective land package that is contiguous with or in close proximity to the Company's existing road accessible projects.

Ownership

  • Brazilian Gold owns a 100% interest in the regional package, subject to a 1.25% net smelter royalty (NSR) to Talon Metals Corp.
  • Brazilian Gold has the right to purchase 50% of the NSR for US$1,000,000 or 100% of the NSR for US$2,000,000 within 30 days of start of commercial production.

Land

  • Sixteen separate exploration concessions and/or exploration applications totaling 115,926 hectares.

History

  • Unknown; garimpeiro mining of alluvials on some concessions.

Description

  • Highly prospective land package in the Tapajós Mineral Province.
  • Two concessions contiguous with Magellan Minerals Ltd's Cuiú-Cuiú property, which hosts a 1.3 million ounce gold resource, and within the Cuiú-Cuiú-Tocantinzinho-Palito-Sao Jorge structural gold corridor.
  • Five concessions contiguous with the Company's Pista Manual and Rio Novo projects.
  • Nine concessions within 50 kilometres of the Transgarimpeiro highway and which contain extensive historic alluvial (garimpeiro) workings.

2011 Exploration Program

  • Compile and interpret government geology, geochemistry and geophysics over the concessions to identify and prioritize targets for follow-up site visits.
  • Complete reconnaissance mapping and prospecting of selected targets.
