The Pista Manual project has seen limited exploration work by Brazilian Gold and a previous operator. This work identified gold mineralization in a number of zones in the northwest part of the concession as well as a gold in soil anomaly in the central part of the concession.

Ownership

  • Brazilian Gold has the option to own 100% of the project subject to a 1.5% NSR that can be purchase for US$1.5 million.

Land

  • One exploration concession for a total area of 2,932.2 Ha.

History

  • Unknown, garimpeiro mining of alluvial and saprolite.
  • 2009, previous operator completes soil and rock geochemistry, trenching and drilling (4 holes in 448 m).
  • 2011, Brazilian Gold completes geophysics, soil geochemistry and drilling (4 holes in 561 m).

Description

  • The property is underlain by granites and felsic volcanic rocks that host structurally controlled gold mineralization.
  • Vein and stockwork systems have locally been exploited by small scale garimpeiro activity.
  • The vein systems strike northeast and northwest, dip steeply and are associated with silica, potassium feldspar, sericite and chlorite alteration.
  • Northwest trending gold in soil anomaly (+1,000 m by 200 m) outlined in 2011 program is open to the northwest.
  • 2011 drill hole (PMD-001-11) intersects 4.28 g/t over 14 m at Inferinho target.
