Director Bios

Christian Bué, Ph.D.
Non-Executive Chairman

Dr. Bué has over thirty-five years experience in the mining and metals business, many of which were as a senior executive with Penarroya, where he was Executive Vice President of Marketing and Commerical. After the merger with Metaleurop, he became an Executive Board Member in charge of 17 downstream plants in the galvanizing and die-casting areas of the business.

Mr. Bué was a former Vice Chairman of the International Zinc Association and the French Non Ferrous Metals Business Association. He was a Director of EuroZinc Mining Corporation before it merged with Lundin Mining Corporation in 2006. He obtained a Ph.D. in law and a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Paris.



John (Ian) Stalker, B.Sc.
CEO and Director

Mr. Stalker is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He has over thirty years of development and operational mining experience in Europe, Africa and Australia. He has worked his way up from operational roles in the base and precious metals arenas to executive positions in some of the largest mining companies in the world.

Mr. Stalker was CEO of Berkeley Resources Ltd., an Australian and London listed public company with its main asset, a uranium development project, in Spain. He was CEO of UraMin Inc. ("UraMin"), a London and Toronto listed public company until its acquisition by Areva in August 2007 for US$2.5 billion. Prior to joining UraMin, Mr. Stalker was a Vice President of Gold Fields Ltd., the fourth largest gold producer in the world at the time.



Joanne Yan
President and Director

Joanne Yan is President and a Director of the Company. Formerly, she was the Managing Director of Golden China Resources Corp. and Vice President and one of the founding directors of Apac Minerals Inc.

Joanne has 15 years experience in managing venture companies and has played a significant role in the corporate financing and business development strategies between several North American and Chinese companies. She has also been a senior corporate executive with a number of publicly traded companies in Canada.



Glen Dickson, B.Sc., P. Geol.
Director

Glen Dickson is Chairman of Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. Prior to this, Glen was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Cumberland Resources Ltd. Mr. Dickson is a professional geologist with over 30 years of exploration experience in several different countries. During the past 20 years, he has focused on gold exploration in a wide variety of depositional environments. Mr. Dickson has been instrumental in the discovery of two multi-million ounce gold deposits in Nunavut, Canada.



James Mellon, M.Sc.
Director

Mr. Mellon is co-founder and Chairman of Regent Pacific Group Limited, Chairman of Manx Financial Group, Chairman of Speymill PLC, Director of Polo Resources Ltd. and Director of Charlemagne Capital.

Mr. Mellon has over 20 years investment experience in emerging markets and specializes in the development and restructuring of internal investment vehicles. He has worked since the 1980's in asset management with GT Management Plc, the Thornton Group and Tyndall Holdings Plc. Mr. Mellon holds a Master's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University and is an Honorary Fellow of Oriel College, Oxford.



Luis Mauricio F. de Azevedo, B.Sc., LLB.
Director

Mr. Azevedo is a lawyer and geologist with 25 years of business and mining experience in Brazil. He is a partner at FFA Legal & Support Mine/Oil Companies and previously worked for Western Mining, Barrick and Harsco. Mr. Azevedo has assembled land packages that resulted in four initial public offerings (Talon, Avanco, Beadell and Carnavale) since 2004.

Mr. Azevedo received a Geology Degree from Universidade Do Estado Do Rio De Janeiro in 1986, a Law Degree from Faculdade Integradas Candido Mendes in 1992 and a Master of Law Degree from Pontifice Universidade Catolica Do Rio de Janeiro in 1995.
